Meet the New Two

We need a few more mousers. The wee ginger will be called Tuesday. I believe he named himself. The other one I have not decided yet.

New kids on the block.

The war on thistles continues.

Poppy is in heat and making sure everyone knows it. She is wild when she is in heat that sow.

As luck has it Lady Aster is on the same cycle so she spent all last night yelling.

I hope you have a lovely day.

NEWSLETTER NEWS:

Now that things are a little slower and while Michael is still here (’til Friday) I am working  hard to get the test Kitchen’s Garden Farm Newsletter out this week. It is going to be so pretty and it will make you laugh. The work will be original to the newsletter so what you see and read there will not be in the blog.

And it will give you the links to ways to help fund the farm. But there are kinks to work out and one or two more August gifts to get into the Zazzle shop.

Scroll right past the comments to SIGN UP. My test run will be this week (maybe as soon as Thursday)  come hell or high water. Then the first Monday of the month from then on.

WEATHER:: Looking for a good Friday to cut hay now.

  1. Two sweet puss cats…plenty of mousing done there I went past thr comments lounge but could not see anythingbfor monthly news

  2. The tabby can be Fursday 🙂 Manu in hiding then, guess you don’t need piggies going into winter. Laura

  3. What a pair of cuties!
You mentioned they’re New Kids on the Block … The little tabby has to be Donny (my fave) or Joey (everyone else I know’s fave) 😀 😀

  4. Yep, we have thistles running amok in our neglected beds. While they are a pain (sorry!), we kind of like them for the Mc’s that we are. Okay, that and the Goldfinch love them, and we don’t have animals anymore.

  5. What a sweet pair of new kitties, my favorites! Hope everyone else quiets down so that you have a more peaceful night.

  6. Looking at the new two makes me want more kittens!!! But four is plenty for our little farm right now! 🙂

  7. Poor little tykes look scared witless (‘specially the little Wildling on the right.): TWO animals in heat at the same time? OMG! Good luck getting the kinks out for The Newsletter (is there a way to subscribe from the WordPress App yet? Sorry, I know you really don’t need more (inconsequential) stuff to work on. I have gone to the blog to sign up(twice now!) but keep getting distracted reading posts, lol!; )
