The weather channel says it is getting colder. It is 40F/4C and windy this morning. Time for an extra layer when I go outside. 
This picture is so funny. It shows how tall Aunty Del is and how really short wee Txiki is. Lady’s little herd. Just watching.
This gate is open for Wai to walk around the barn if he wants to. But he will not go out. He is afraid, he stands right there and reaches his nose out sniffing at the opening. I sometimes wonder if his sight was not impaired by the ‘incident’ too. He may well be navigating by smell. This may be another reason he prefers to be alone. No surprises. He is much calmer in here – I hear none of that squealing and calling out. He does love his new bed too. After taking this photo (he looks like a rock) I reached in and covered him up.
Look at his poor wee askew tail. He knows where his bed is.

It is not often I get a shot of Molly feeding her babies.
She is still looking really healthy and is holding her weight so she can keep them for a while longer. I watch the sow carefully from three weeks on of any signs of the piglets dragging her down. If they have big litters the piglets will actually pull her weight right off her and her health will suffer. But with Molly having only three she is keeping up. You can see that some of the teats have dried up to compensate for the lack of numbers. I want these piglets nice and fat before the winter comes.
Colder. But not cold yet.
I am working on the calendar today. It is looking beautiful. I aim to have it ready to buy on the 4th of November. Zazzle allows me to make two different sizes so we can have a cheaper option for gifts. The 4th of November is Our Full Moon. The date of the next newsletter. I will strive to have it ready to sell by then.
I missed our calendar last year.

Happy Monday sweet friend. I think we finally found some cold late last night. Mom *finally* had to turn on the heat a little and make a fire. I was shivering and couldn’t get close enough to mom in the bed. Hopefully I can hibernate a little now. Do your piggies do that in the winter? Gracias hermosa, ¡que tengas un gran lunes!
