One has to wonder where these ears came from.
Little calf.

Little pig’s bottoms.

A moray eel. Though, of course, this image would be better if it was in focus. Wai loves his new house.

And another 5am start for me.
Tomorrow will be better.
Have a good one

I’m so glad Wai has changed his mind about the big blue fish tank. He looks very cosy in there, so hopefully he’ll be safe and warm over winter.
I hope so too. He does not like change so I think he will stay in there now.
Yes, exactly what I was thinking: )
(What Kate said, I mean: )
Yes, very excited to hear that Wai has changed his mind about the fish bowl house. He looks very cozy in there!
It is warm – and light- albeit a blue light through the fish tank sides
Maybe the cold convince Wai to to take up residence.
Those three little pigs will want a house of bricks, or the big bad wolf will get them!
Aren’t they cute!!
Very and what a size difference in the little one. I loved the video of drinking too!
Yes- I guess there really is a runt in every litter. She is growing much faster now they are in the gArden
At last … Wai has decided it was his idea to move into his new house 🙂 Laura
Yes- he will not be hurried.
Thankfully! (If not for his determination, I’m not certain he’d still be alive… ):
I don’t know how you manage early mornings in the cold months. Forrest and I had to be up at 4:00 am as he’s got a long drive this morning for his job. It’s 29 degrees here and I thought of you as I was out opening up the front gate and the building where we store our vehicles. I suppose I’m spoiled living in the south, but the cold never has been my friend.
I am glad Wai likes his new digs. Will he be there all winter?
I think so yes – luckily Molly’s brood is small enough to stay in their own quarters for the winter..
Once I stop milking in the mornings I can wait until a reasonable hour- the pigs are not usually up early when it is cold
I love the shine of healthy coats and noses. It looks like Wai is very cosy in his little house. Busy day, I hope it goes well with little drama.
Yes! He is spending along of time rummaging about in there! I will keep it full of straw so he can get right under the straw. He likes to be covered up.
I’m so glad Wai has changed his mind!
so am I – he looked so chilly in the open even though he was in the barn it really is just a roof with drafty old walls
Ears are very interesting if you bother to look at them and notice. Everyone looks quite content with their lot. Great shots of pig behinds. 🙂
Hers are an unusual shape –
Yes, rather round, aren’t they?
Moray eel? Guess it’s cuz of the fishbowl? Unique thought! Love it when you really examine things like, ears, snouts, and baby bottoms! Thanks!
Oh Wai Wai!!! He’s getting cozy!!! “it ain’t too bad in here after all!! maybe I better listen to Madame Celi ~ I think she’s knows what’s best for Me”!!! oink!! oink!!! the little calves are just listening to the great countryside they live in!! And 3 little butts!!! ~~ love it!!!! Stay warm tonite Celi ~ I’m not ready for this Arctic air coming thru here!! Still had tomatoes on the bushes and all kinds of flowers blooming!! grrrrr!!!
Wai does have a mind of his own and does NOT like to be rushed! Cheers!
All the text has vanished from the blog for me. All I see are the pictures. Doubt I’ll be able to see this comment
Oh NO! I hope it comes back – though there was very little today
Well now I can see text and comments by coming in through google chrome but it in’t working on windows and msn after all these years. Odd that
Yes that is odd. Something has changed in the wild wild web.
Well, well, well…. Wai FINALLY entered & loved his new home!! He’s gonna be all set for winter now!!
I love your work
The ears… Do they belong to Carlos the Tiny? ; )
Wai looks so very happy …
Wai looks like he’s practicing for a role in the small local churches’ “Away in a Manger” scene.
Stay snug all.
Ceci, I haven’t received any new blogs from the KitchensGarden for nearly a week now. Are you OK? Have I been unsubbed? Please help if you can!
