GRASS GREW SOME MORE

Well, thankfully the thunder and lightning and wild storms never came yesterday, all we had was a bit of dark drizzle so I let Aunty Del and her leggy calf out into a sopping afternoon for a stroll.

It was a warm damp day – a grass growing day. Maybe the last one. The last warm day. The last warm grass growing day.

This was a lovely image (below) of mother and daughter that did not quite transfer into a picture. But I will make a card of it anyway.

MIlking times are now switched to mid-afternoon. Late afternoon has a better chance of being the warmest part of the day. Freezing weather makes the pump struggle. In fact, the pulsator won’t even pulse if it is too cold. I need to set up the milking lights again.  Both for light and for warming the pulsator.

I might make a card out of these two dingbats too.  Though it will be a very brown card their wide eyes make me smile.

I hope you have a lovely day.

Buy or Browse. Here is the 2018 Calendar. I have left it customizable so if you want to add important dates to the calendar I believe you can. Today I will make a smaller cheaper one as well and I will give you that link tomorrow. I intend to make one in every size so we can all have one that fits our budgets, especially if (like me) you are buying more than one.

Amazon – I am adding Christmas Stuff in the Amazon Things page and am focussing on small women’s items this week.

Enjoy

  1. Carlos must have figured out how to use a stepladder after two years with Aunty Del! His calves are beautiful, so tiny and mostly dark like him.

  2. :Love the dingbats. I’m sure what they were looking at wasn’t really all that scandalous, but they sure got the expressions right for it. Made my day.
