THE GREETER
Every morning I walk out the door at 30 minutes past dawn with a bowl of cat food, a bucket of water and a bottle of goats milk and baby rice for the piglet.

EVENTUALLY
The sun did come out yesterday. Towards the end of a very long chilly day. I am hoping we get even more today. After days of sunless cold the whole animal kingdom me included are longing for sun.

CALLING IT A NIGHT
… in the middle of the afternoon. Yesterday darkness fell about 3.30pm. A storm was rolling in. All the animals took note and began to take their places in their barns. ‘Calling it a night.’ Early.

FEEDBACK
Manu slept the night in his little tin house. He had two bales of dry golden straw in there and has made himself a big warm bed.
