ARE YOU MY MOTHER?

Jude approaches everyone on the farm with the fearless inquisitiveness of the very young. I just let him wander about for the meantime. Let him explore.

SELLING COWS

I think Jude is eating too much pasta! He is definitely achieving my objective of ‘fatness’ before the cold settles in. Soon he will be too big to pick up.

OUTSMARTED BY THE DUCKS

Yesterday when I went out to start my chores I was greeted by a string of giggling ducks wandering down the drive. Not good. They should have been in the barn laying. It was not yet light. And all their nests were empty. Not…

IN A MILLION YEARS

For the first time in a million years ( it feels like) I am off out for lunch with a friend!

MINUS NINE

Yes 15F is -9C. In other words – a wee bit chilly. Luckily my animals are a tough bunch. I look forward to carrying many buckets of warm water today!
