Colour spelt with a ‘u’ – colour not color. Many words in American have ‘u’ removed. But English travels and like all languages is endlessly evolving. We can choose our spelling! The chickens laid us an egg yesterday so I made gnocchi. I am… Continue Reading “LETTING COLOUR IN”

I am now legal to sell eggs to the restaurants in Chicago and yesterday the chickens laid almost three dozen eggs and the ducks laid sixteen eggs. They are taking a long time to get big though.

I READ once that every millionaire has more than one avenue of income. Not putting all her eggs in one basket so to speak. Making a little money from a farm is not too hard but making a PROFIT is near impossible. And laughable… Continue Reading “MORE BIRDS”
