WET WET WET

Yesterday I finished shoveling all the proverbial out of the cow’s loafing/bedroom. I got it all clean then spread out the bale of straw to make their beds, then the cows came back in and began to EAT THE STRAW. Sigh. By this morning I think they may have eaten their entire bed. This years straw is tasty!

FOG. RAIN. SNOW.
Yesterday the fog hung thick. Blanketing the earth for the whole day. Usually, a fog will lift in the late morning but yesterday we shoved through the sodden visible air for the whole day.

THE WEST SIDE

The cows on the West side are more than happy with their big round bale. Stupid seldom leaves its side. Tia’s cousin. He is a beautiful animal. I had John place the round bale under the trees. It is dry under there with not as much growth for them to trample. These round bales cost…

RUNNING DOG

So much warmer this morning. And our Prime Minister in New Zealand is pregnant. She is great! We are hoping that she will breastfeed in The Chamber.

ONCE AGAIN

The farmy has a sunny day ahead. Plus a high that may just tip us above freezing. My arms ache from carrying buckets of water for the cows so I hope we can get the hoses out today. Carrying water is hard work.
