Tia is half Holstein, the most common dairy cow on Earth, and Half Angus the favorite beef cow of America. Like my favorite sparrows she is terribly common. But the nicest heifer on the property. And wide!

THE GREAT LEVELER

We have windy wet weather today. Still in the Hawkes Bay winter, I come from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand and our Illinois weather is so much like home that I am wondering how they cope with this infernal mud!
