GRASS GREW SOME MORE
Well, thankfully the thunder and lightning and wild storms never came yesterday, all we had was a bit of dark drizzle so I let Aunty Del and her leggy calf out into a sopping afternoon for a stroll.

MISTY STILL DAY
Right this minute – it is 5.23am -it is 53F/11C, really warm. And wet, sopping all over, really wet, wet air and wet ground and wet all around. I can hear water dripping off the eaves into the gardens and the water barrel.

NO GlOOM
Speed is of the essence at the end of the day. The days are folding back into themselves way too early – I start work in the dark but prefer not to finish work in the dark. But am always caught out. Trying to get images of the farm as the gloom gathers.
