SOAKED

In the last 24 hours we have had hours of heavy rain accompanied by the roar of black thunder so loud and continuous that it became a white noise.

COOL AND MISTY MORNING

This morning. The birds and the crickets make a morning chorus for the dawn. Dense with sound. When I see a dawn like this bright magenta through the fog, I hope my guests are awake to see it.

DOWN THE BACK

The hogs down the back are getting big.

I used to have beautiful gardens. I must have spent a fortune on flowers. Pulling weeds and making everything neat and tidy.

REMEMBER

Don’t read too much into my headings. They are often ( usually) cryptic and probably ( always) without thought. Yesterday’s ‘throw in the towel’ heading was part of my discussion about the endless RAIN!

A LITTLE

JUST WALKED IN

Last night I thought I would begin the training to get the young ducks in the Quack House with the old ducks and with very little herding they all just walked in.
